Information we collect
To run a protection session, OmniCircle needs your account details, the trusted contacts you add to your circle, and your device location while a session is active. You can also add details about where you are going when that is useful to you. Outside an active session, your location is not collected.
How we use your information
Everything OmniCircle collects exists to make a protection session work. In practice that means:
1. Starting, running and ending the protection sessions you choose to begin
2. Sharing your session with the trusted contacts you selected, and nobody else
3. Sending check-in reminders, missed check-in alerts and help alerts to your circle
4. Keeping your session history available to you until it expires
Data security
We take data security seriously and use industry-standard measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Session and location history is set to expire automatically on a schedule you choose in the app. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Who can see your sessions
Only the people you add to a session can follow it. No strangers monitor you, and we do not sell or trade your personal information. We share information with service providers who help us operate the app, such as messaging and email delivery, and where the law requires it.
