If you’re in immediate danger, call 911.
If you’re in immediate danger
Call 911 or your local emergency services. OmniCircle is not an emergency-response service and does not contact police, fire or medical services for you.
Use your judgment
Before entering an unfamiliar situation, think through the basics:
1. Where you’re going, and who you’re meeting
2. Who knows your plans, and when you expect to be back
3. Whether you have a way to leave
4. Whether your phone is charged
What OmniCircle does
It keeps the people you chose connected to your session while it is active, so someone you trust knows what is happening and when you check in safe.
What OmniCircle does not do
It does not guarantee your safety, it does not monitor you around the clock, and it does not dispatch help. It is one more layer of protection, not a replacement for your own judgment.
Meeting someone from online
Meet in a public place, tell someone in your circle where you will be, start a protection session before you arrive, and check in when you leave.
Trust your instincts
If a situation feels wrong, leave. You don’t owe anyone an explanation, and no meeting is worth staying somewhere you don’t want to be.
